中國新年(Chinese New Year) 終於過完了

大家不知道有沒有玩得開心?

今天就來學學Chinese New Year 相關的英文吧~

#1 worship God/worship ancestors 拜神；拜祖先

worship 在英文裡有崇拜的意思，worship God 的意思是拜神；而ancestor 是祖先，worship ancestors 就是我們過年時常要做的 "拜祖先"

I don't know if you guys have ever been to Kinmen?

Kinmen is a very interesting place to me, one of the interesting things is the temple culture.

If you have any chance to go to Kinmen, Wind Lion God(風獅爺) is something you must know.

父親節(Father's Day)快到了, 大約從上個禮拜開始大家就開始慶祝(celebrate) 了

台灣人慶祝節日的方式, 最普遍的就是吃吃喝喝了

上個禮拜, Stella 回彰化去吃"吃到飽"餐廳(an all-you-can-eat restaurant)

 All-you-can-eat 餐廳, 應該是中國人所發明的東西, 美其名就是, 看到的你都可以吃

我們去吃的是麻辣鍋吃到飽, 現在我們就來學學相關的單字囉

• double hot pot 鴛鴦鍋(因為有二個鍋)
• spicy hot pot 麻辣鍋(spicy 就是辣的)
• seafood 海鮮
• shrimp 蝦子
• vegetable(vegies) 蔬菜
• beef 牛肉
• beef tripe (tripe 指的是可食用的肚子或內臟)
• chicken 雞肉
• lamb 羊肉
• tofu and blood tofu (豆腐和豬血)--> 就鍋底會放的那些
• dessert 甜點
• ice cream 冰淇淋

昨天和姐妹去逛街(go shopping), 去台北地下街(Taipei City Mall) 走走

我必須說, 這真的是好好逛阿( It's a good place to shop.)

簡直可以說是女生的購物天堂(Girls' shopping paradise)

真的是什麼都有: 衣服, 鞋子, 珠寶, 書, 生活用品(clothes, shoes, jewelries, books, and groceries)

現在的人工作都十分的忙碌, 常常會忘了也不知道該如何取得工作和生活中的平衡

所謂工作生活中的平衡就是 work-life balance

意思就是我們上班時能專心上班(concentrate on work), 把我們份內的事情做好(pull our weight)
