[初級文法練習卷] 形容詞比較級及原級的用法

英文形容詞的比較級變化分為二種

一種是直接在字尾加上 -er

如: 

(1) tall--> taller

(2) short-->shorter

(3) smart --> smarter

(4) high--> higher

(5) long-->longer

另一種則是多音節的字 如: interesting, beautiful, comfortable, expensive...等

這些多音節的字的比較級則是在前面加上 more

(1) interesting-->more interesting

(2) beautiful-->more beautiful

(3) comfortable--> more comfortable

(4) expensive-->more expensive

as 形容詞的原級 as=像...一樣

在英文裡有一些形容還蠻有趣的: 

(1) as strong as an ox 像牛一樣壯

(2) as busy as a bee 像蜜蜂一樣忙

(3) as weak as a kitten 像病貓一樣

(4) as quiet as a mouse 像老鼠一樣安靜
