上次在我們的FB 讀書會裡老師有貼一個文法題

主要的文法重點是 "不同的顏色或款式" 介系詞要用 in

所以以下題目的答案是: (C)

今天, 就針對這個文法讓我們來學學其他去購物買衣服時會常用到的句型

1. try on [試穿]

可以說 try (衣物) on = try on (衣物)

Ex: Excuse me. Can I try this shirt on?=Can I try on this shirt? (我可以試穿這件襯衫嗎?)

如果將衣物以代名詞 it 代替, 則 it 只能放在 try on 的中間

Ex: This shirt looks good. Can I try it on?

2. It doesn't fit/suit me. [它size不適合我/它不適合我]

fit 指的是[合身], 在適穿衣服時會有太大或太小的問題, 合不合身動詞用 fit

Ex: I like this sweater, but it doesn't fit me. The shoulders are not wide enough. (我喜歡這件襯衫, 但它不合身, 肩膀的地方太窄了)

而 suit 則是指顏色或款式適不適合某人

Ex: This hat doesn't suit me. My face looks big when I wear it. (這頂帽子不適合我, 我戴起來臉很大)

3. in different color/style/size 不同顏色/款式/尺寸

Ex:

a Sally likes the skirt, but she wants it in different color.  Red doesn't suit her.

(Sally 喜歡這件裙子, 但她想要不同顏色. 紅色不適合她)

b. Do you have this dress in size 10?

(這件洋娤有10號的嗎?)

c. Alice wants to buy two short skirts. She likes this one, and she is looking for another one in different style.

(Alice 想買二件短裙. 她喜歡這件, 而她在找另外一件不同款式的)
